Installation Info

DOOR & FRAME PREPARATION:

Note: To assure lift-off capability, the lower knuckles must be installed on frame, upper knuckles on the door.

Note: For non-lift-off mounting, one upper knuckle and one lower knuckle must be mounted to frame. One knuckle must be installed AFTER door is hung. For non lift-off offset hinges only: Use one type “A” and one type “B” hinge per door.

Die-cast zinc, black powder coated.

Strength Guidelines

RADIAL:
Maximum working load: 1100 N (250 lbs.)
Average ultimate load: 2400 N (530 lbs.)

AXIAL:
Maximum working load: 1250 N (280 lbs.)
Average ultimate load: 2600 N (580 lbs.)

Note: Maximum recommended tightening torque for mounting screws: 1.1 N•m (10 in.-lbs.)
