Installation Info
1. Prepare door.
2. If frame requires modification (notch, hole
or shim), be sure to observe C and D dimensions and to allow sufficient width
clearance for latching slide. See latch drawings for width of slide.
3. Measure your door thickness and set adjusting
nut so that GAP is equal to door thickness within plus 0.8 (.03), minus 0.0 (.00).
4. Assemble latch in door and tighten mounting
nut.

CUP and PADDLE: 1010 Steel, zinc plated plus
bright chromate dip or powder coated (black or satin silver) or 304 stainless
steel, passivated and brushed finish (see product number listing).
GUIDE and SLIDE: 1010 Steel, zinc plated plus
bright chromate dip or 304 stainless steel, passivated.
SPRING: 302 Stainless steel, passivated.
LOCKWASHER: Spring steel, zinc alloy plate, bright
chromate plus sealer or 304 stainless steel, passivated.
PIN: 302 Stainless steel, passivated.
NUT: Steel, zinc plate, chromate plus sealer or
stainless steel, passivated.
BRACKET: 1010 Steel, zinc plate, chromate plus sealer or 304 stainless
steel, passivated.
STUD: 10B21 Steel, zinc alloy plate, bright chromate plus sealer or 302
stainless steel, passivated.
For Locking Versions:
LOCK: Die-cast zinc, black powder coated or chrome
plated.
LOCK ARM: Steel, zinc alloy plate, bright chromate
plus sealer or stainless steel, passivated.
MOUNTING NUT: Die-cast zinc with chemical protective film.
SCREWS: Steel, zinc plated plus yellow chromate dip or stainless steel,
passivated.
KEYS (2): Brass, natural.
